A resistant Notwane side managed to hold marauding Mochudi Centre Chiefs to a 1-1 draw in a pulsating be-MOBILE Premier League encounter played under floodlights at the UB stadium on a cool Saturday night.

The first 20 minutes of the game were fast-paced with both sides visiting each other's goal in search for an early opener but none of the attacks bore any clear goal-scoring chance. The first real chance of the game fell to Notwane when Tebogo Sembowa tried Chiefs' goalie Noah Maposa with a powerful near-post grass cutter on the 34th minute but the Zebras' man was equal to the task. Notwane found the opener on the 40th minute with a brilliant goal from Kitso Tlhowe who squeezed in a powerful net buster from a tight acute angle living Maposa lifeless on the ground. Notwane however suffered a setback three minutes later as they were reduced to 10 men following the sending off of striker Langson Sichula. Sichula was sent to an early shower for a second rough tackle on Chiefs' winger Pontsho Moloi.
