MOLEPOLOLE: Mochudi Centre Chiefs and BDF XI staged dramatic comebacks on Saturday to storm into the semi-finals of the Mascom Top 8 Cup.

While Chiefs overturned a 3-1 first leg loss to Mogoditshane Fighters to sail through 5-4 on aggregate in extra-time, BDF XI came from a goal down to break the hearts of BMC with the winner in the 90th minute.

In the first match of the double header, Chiefs faced an uphill task of scoring at least three goals without conceding to proceed to the semis. It did not look easy even after Galabgwe Moyana scored for Magosi in the opening minutes. Chiefs continued pressing forward despite the slow pace of the game played in blistering heat.
