Extension Gunners, known for their perennial fights against relegation have taken many by surprise with their bright start to the be MOBILE Premier League this season.

The Lobatse side has found itself in an unfamiliar second position in the standings, a major improvement for a club used to languishing in the relegation zone for ages before pulling a great escape act - even on the last day of the campaign. Gunners' coach, Daniel 'Chicco' Nare, attributes the positive development to a change in attitude.
Mapantsula underlined their renewed verve with a 4-1 thumping of Uniao Flamengo Santos on Sunday in a game in which Bernard Semakwezi grabbed all the goals. It was Gunners' first ever victory over Santos.

Nare said he has instilled a sense of self-belief in his charges and he is happy with the way the team is responding. "There has been nothing special really, only that we have decided to change our attitude and leave behind this thing that we have to fight for survival every season. We are now thinking positively that we need to compete with the best," he said.
