Centres of excellence delays persist

The Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) chairperson Solly Reikeletseng says there are sticking issues which have led to a delay in setting up centres of excellence which were supposed to become operational in January this year.

The centres are a BNSC-Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture joint effort.

Speaking at a Vision 2012 review workshop in Gaborone yesterday, Reikeletseng said there were sticking points, which were being ironed out before the centres could be launched.
