CAF keeps faith in Bondo

Joshua Bondo has survived the chop, after CAF sent home, 17 of the 29 referees at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations finals following the conclusion of the round of 16 matches.

Only 12 referees remain, and Bondo, the first Botswana referee to officiate at the AFCON finals, made the cut.

Bondo was handed the high profile last 16 encounter between Cameroon and Nigeria, where he acquainted himself well in the process.
