Buffaloes surmount biggest challenge by far

First Division South log leaders, Mochudi Buffaloes, continued their good form, easily brushing aside declining Jwaneng Comets in Mochudi to prove that they mean business.

The Kgatleng side have been seeing Comets as their biggest obstacle and their victory over the former Premier League side could further boost morale in the camp.

But Killer Giants' 2-1 win over relegation-haunted Queens Happy Hearts ensured that Buffaloes' lead could only go as far as six points. So the promotion battle is still wide open with Comets still in with a chance if they start improving their performance. At 23 points, Comets could jump into second position any time if they win their next game provided Killer Giants fail to add to their 24 points.
