Buffaloes, strikers in goalless deadlock

Young Strikers had to make do with a 0-0 draw on Saturday despite a dominant performance against Mochudi Buffaloes in a First Division League match at SSG Grounds.

Kick-off was delayed by an hour because there was no FIFA approved ball. But as soon as the game started, the homeside, Young Strikers bossed their opponents. Strikers will live to rue the many chances its players squandered during the thrilling league match watched by a paltry 15 people.

The two teams produced some decent play with Strikers, dictating the pace in the opening half. The homeside made countless forays upfront but could not find the back of the net.
