BSA defends World Championships performance

The Botswana Softball Association (BSA) has defended the performance of the national men's team at the World Championships in Canada. BSA spokesman, Kabelo Kwape said considering the circumstances the players performed well at the competition. Botswana crashed out of the tournament at the group stage after five loses.

The team lost 4-1 to Denmark, 9-5 to Japan, 10-0 to New Zealand, 2-1 to United States and 7-0 to Mexico. However, Botswana redeemed itself admirably in the last match, beating Britain 5-1 on Friday.
