SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Botswana Bowling Association (BBA) has announced the final women and men's teams that will compete at the World Bowls Championships to be in Adelaide, Australia, from November 24 to December 9.

BBA public relations officer John Gaborutwe told Mmegi Sport this week that the teams will compete in singles, pairs, triples and fours for both categories. He said that Pauline Lekone of Gaborone Bowls Club will compete in the women's singles championships against New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the Philippines, Wales, Jersey, Spain, Thailand, China and Norfolk Islands.

He explained that the bowler would play as lead for the women's pairs with Tirelo Buckley of Jwaneng club. The ladies pair's opponents are top seeded England, Ireland, Malaysia, Philippines, Wales, Jersey, Cyprus, Spain, Papua New Guinea and Brunei.
