Botswana team targets 86 COSSASA medals

At group of 86 athletes leaves for Harare, Zimbabwe, today for the Confederation of School Sports Associations of Southern Africa (COSSASA) thletics championships, which start on Friday.

The team has set a target of 36 medals.Thirty-two athletes are from primary schools while the remainder are secondary school students. Botswana, Namibia, Swaziland, Lesotho and Zambia will join the host in the two-day competition.

Botswana Integrated Sports Association (BISA) is sending representatives for the first time in two years due to teachers-government impasse over extra-curricular.Botswana Primary School Sports Association (BOPSSA) hosted the competition in 2010 and the country won 20 medals.
