Botswana golf player, Catherine Mosimanekwena has returned home after being crowned the best gross in the B division of the Swaziland Ladies Open. Mosimakwena told Mmegi Sport yesterday that she is thrilled by the achievement.

She said Swaziland invited all the women's golfers in the continent although the participants were only from Botswana, South Africa and the host country. She was among the three women from Botswana together with Maria Machaelo-Ellis and Tiny Kgatlhwane who took part in the event held at Royal Swazi Golf Club.

Mosimakwena said that Botswana golfers should play in competitions like the Swazi Ladies Open to improve standards. "If we play more opens, we can go far. The perfect example is the overall winner at the event, Swaziland's Nobuhle Dlamini. She competes in many opens in the continent," she said.
