Botswana favoured to host Africa Junior Championships

Botswana are now the sole runners in the bid to host the event, which will be taking place for the second time. Morocco held the inaugural event in 2010.

Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture, Shaw Kgathi presented the bid to the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) president, Lassana Palenfo at the Africa Village here in London on Thursday. Kgathi said Botswana was a peaceful and stable country with strong democratic traditions and a history of good governance.
