Botswana drawn in tough group

Botswana has been drawn with Jamaica, South Africa and hosts Singapore in Pool C for the 2011 World Netball Championships (WNC) penciled for July 3-10 at the Indoor Stadium, Singapore.

The draw was held on the sidelines of the final day of the FairPrice Foundation Nations Cup 2010 on Sunday.

National team coach Seipei Gaelesiwe is wary of the Jamaicans and feels adequate preparations have to be done ahead of the competition. The Jamaicans, favourites to win the championships, are ranked third in the world while South Africa are ranked sixth.
