Boost for inter-banks games

The 11th inter-banks games have been handed a timely boost after a number of sports bodies agreed to avail qualified officials to handle the competition.

Speaking at a press briefing in Gaborone yesterday, the organising committee chairperson, Brian Ketshabile said the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) affiliated sports bodies will assist with referees and umpires in an effort to promote fairness.

“We have requested for assistance from the associations for these games. In terms of officiating this event we would have the qualified referees and umpires from these associations, so we are expecting the tournament to run as smoothly as possible,” Ketshabile said.
