BOKA moves closer to getting karate hall

Construction of the Botswana Karate Association (BOKA) sports hall (Dojo) in Gaborone is scheduled to start soon after the groundbreaking ceremony was performed on Tuesday.

The facility behind the National Stadium is expected to be complete in August. The Japanese government has donated P700,000 to finance the project which was scheduled to start last year but was delayed due to bureaucracy.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, the Japanese ambassador to Botswana, Ryoichi Matsuyama said they are relieved that construction has finally started after months of delay.
