BMC, ECCO to lose company sponsorship

Botswana Meat Commission (BMC) have announced that they will gradually pull out of the sponsorship they had with two Premier League clubs, BMC and ECCO City Greens as part of rationalising and realigning the new BMC as a company.

The company's corporate communications manager, Tiro Kganela, said it is part of the company's new strategy to focus more on core business. BMC has been rocked by allegations of corruption and mismanagement, prompting government to set up a special commission of inquiry into the operations of the Lobatse-based parastatal company.
