The Botswana Football Association (BFA) president, David Fani has said the association is keen to meet representatives of women's clubs to address their grievances.

Fani, however, said the pending meeting should not hinder the start of the 2011/2012 season.

The BFA chief said he understands the grievances raised by women's clubs, but boycotting the league would not be a solution. The women's league administrators have raised a myriad of problems, among them the shortage of facilities and poor communication from the mother body. The administrators argue that BFA has neglected the women's game.
