BFA defends clubless' Mogae

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has come out in strong defence of club-less national team assistant coach Ken Mogae saying his current status enables him to easily attend to national team duties.

Mogae is unattached to a club since parting ways with Boteti Young Fighters last year. The club said then that Mogae was now residing in Mmadinare, 500km from the club's Orapa base. As a result, he was unable to attend training sessions regularly.

Some quarters in local football have questioned why Mogae has been retained in the national team set up when he is unattached to any club.
