Majawa's goal will remain in the memories of Mapalastina die-hard supporters for a long time. The army side was giving Rollers a tough time in a game played under floodlights at the UB Stadium. The Malawian midfielder who had been one of the outstanding players for Popa last season won the game with a superb strike. Majawa received a low pass around the centre circle and without wasting time, let go a ripper which sailed into the roof of the net giving young Matebele keeper Basimanebotlhe Moilwa no chance. The execution and timing of the strike were simply out of this world. A last-minute goal by Jonah Kwape was not enough for Matebele to come back as Rollers went on to win the game 3-2 maintaining their nine-game unbeaten run.
