BDF XI seek redemption against GNT

While many workers will be enjoying a long weekend from work, the be MOBILE Premier League players and coaches will have no time to relax as the action resumes tomorrow.

Fresh from their 3-2 loss to Gaborone United (GU), BDF XI will have a chance to redeem themselves when they host Great North Tigers at the Molepolole Sports Complex. Matebele have shown glimpses of their magical days with victories over giants - Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Extension Gunners, among others. However, they face a side that is oozing with confidence following a breathtaking performance that saw them hold defending champions, Township Rollers, to a 1-1 draw in Francistown. The game kicks off at 7pm.

In the only game tomorrow, troubled Rollers host Miscellaneous in Molepolole. After their 1-1 draw with GNT, supporters are said to have reacted angrily and bayed for assistant coach Caesar Tshupelo's blood. The supporters are said to be unhappy with the controversial appointment of Tshupelo to the assistant coach's position. In the absence of the head coach, Wesley Mondo, Tshupelo held the fort. With Mondo still in Zambia, it remains to be seen whether Tshupelo would still lead the team against Miscellaneous tomorrow or would leave it to other coaches among them, Thabo Motang. Mondo is in Zambia attending to some family matters. Miscellaneous on the other hand will be without their head coach, Teenage Mpote on the bench as he received marching orders in their 2-1 loss to TAFIC last Friday.
