BDF VI send strong message

BDF VI men's volleyball team continued to send a strong message of intent in the Mascom Volleyball League when they won both their matches against Itekeng and Kalavango on Saturday.

Selebatso Mabutho's side remains the only unbeaten side in the competition. Attacker, Golekanye Kurwana, who had not been with the team for some time, was the pillar for the army side over the weekend. His combination with towering, Francis Dingwe made life difficult for their opponents. BDF has not won silverware in the past two years and although it is still early their prospects look good this time around. Mabutho seem to have left nothing to chance this time, even against less fancied opponents he always brings his full arsenal.

The SSKB based side has played 13 matches, collecting 39 points, two ahead of second placed Mafolofolo. The second placed side has won 11 out of 15 matches.  Another army side Diphatsa who also looks set to challenge for honours are in position three after collecting the same number of points as Mafolofolo.
