Battle of survivors

FRANCISTOWN: TASC meet Jwaneng Comets this weekend in a Mascom Premier League game of relegation survivors.

After a narrow escape last season, both clubs believe they have done the necessary preparations for the battle ahead. Last season, the Tango Boys beat Comets 2-1 in the first round at the Galaxy Stadium in Jwaneng before drawing 2-2 in Francistown in the second round. Both clubs were eliminated early in the just ended Coca-Cola Cup. 

TASC spokesperson Jonas Ikgopoleng is convinced that they are ready for the season, though their new Zambian coach Christopher Chibuya is yet to arrive. He told Mmegi Sport yesterday that they have rectified last season's mistakes. "We are prepared for the league.
