BABA holds boxing tourney

The Botswana Amateur Boxing Association (BABA) will be holding a boxing tournament at the SSKB Boxing Club in SSKB Hall tomorrow.

BABA spokesperson Willough Kemoen told Mmegi Sport that the tournament is part of their preparations for two national boxers' trip to Chicago in the United States of America (US) for the October 17-November 1 World Championships.

Kemoen said that Thato 'Hands of Stone' Batshegi and Khumiso 'Skhumbiso' Ikgopoleng would therefore get a chance to test their mettle before going into camp for the global event in Chicago. He urged fight fans to attend in large numbers to make the tournament a success.
