Some Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) affiliates receive as much as P37 million while at the bottom others use as little as P1, 995 per financial year. There is a 'million Pula club,' which is expectedly led by the country's most popular sport, football.  

Botswana Football Association (BFA)
The BFA, which is the soccer mother body, headed a list of seven millionaires in 2012 with a budget of P6 million.The figure is unchanged in 2012. However, the association requests way above that and has consistently complained about being under funded. Despite receiving P6million, the BFA at the end of the day receives far more than they request through additional funding, particularly for national teams. In the run-up to the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Equatorial Guinea/Gabon, the government had to bail out the association as it prepared the Zebras for the continental tournament.
