Saturday 22 March brings Episode 1335 of WWE SmackDown. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes says he will remain true to himself and his values... even as his opponent at WrestleMania, John Cena, seems to have abandoned his own.
“I was as shocked as everyone else when John Cena attacked me at Elimination Chamber,” said Rhodes. “I know this is mainly down to the influence of The Rock, but John has to take some responsibility for his actions. He has allowed himself to be manipulated, tempted by the prize of a WrestleMania main event... but I am not going to allow him to get his hands on this title.”
Tuesday 25 March will feature Episode 1661 of WWE Raw. After losing the Women’s World Championship to Iyo Sky earlier this month, Rhea Ripley admits that she is feeling lost heading into ‘WrestleMania Season’.
“I’m pissed off. I’m mad, I’m furious... I’m every angry emotion you can think of,” said Ripley. “I’m not mad at Iyo. I’m not mad at Bianca [Belair]. I’m more mad at myself because I should have known better. I should have known not to take my eye off the ball.”
