For Lemogang Tsipa, portraying Shaka in Shaka iLembe wasn’t a career move. It was a calling. “As a young man who grew up in KwaZulu-Natal, this role meant everything,” he says. “It felt like something I’d been unconsciously aspiring to my whole life.”
