21 January 2025. Gaborone, Botswana. Big Brother Mzansi S5 housemates were left breathing a sigh of relief during the first live eviction show this Sunday, after finding out that there were no evictions for the first week of the Umlilo season.

Last week, the housemates nominated each other for eviction, unaware that the nominations were fake. The seven housemates who thought they were on the chopping block: Ash-Ley Ogle, Gugu, Kay B, Mandy Hagan, Savage, and eventually Nsuku when Sweet Guluva put her up for eviction to save Ash-ley, were all left reeling but relieved when they realised they were actually safe for another week. This experience will undoubtedly serve as a wake-up call, reminding them that their time in the house is uncertain and can be cut short at any moment. Smash Afrika was back on stage looking dashing as he delivered another Biggie twist. With him around, there is no reason to suffer from FOMO as he brings you the Smash Sunday Scoop.
