When leaders fail to lead

As somebody who is still in tertiary school, I want to believe that we need our lecturers and management to guide us where we go wrong. But what happens when they accuse us and demoralise us when we do something wrong? Let me relate to one incident that happened at one of our respectable tertiary schools around, a group of students who came together to try and raise P300,000 to help a fellow student was dissolved. Their sin?
They had not not informed the school management about the radio show they were going to have. The action by management led to the resignation of the Project Chairperson without whose leadership the project was bound to fail.
It underscores the indispensable role women play in our society, particularly in building strong households and nurturing families.
