We read deeper into Sebetela's resignation

As political parties battle with the aftermath of the maverick and flamboyent MP for Palapye, the real reasons for his resignation has set tongues wagging.

With speculations ranging from his public overtures he had  with VP in what culminated in the infamous "vultures label" to a conspiracy mooted in Palapye to oust the outspoken MP. While the real reasons for his resignations may not be known to ordinary mortals like the voters, something peculiar is read between the Office of the President and the MP.

Another parallel, that surrounded the unfolding of the end of Sebetela reign was the manner in which it was stage- handled by HE and Sebetela himself in Palapye. That the whole affair attracted the attention of the State President, to take it upon himself to relay the news and explain in pain much to the dissatisfaction of Palapye audience has a lot to say. In his tight schedule, HE could easily find a timeslot to dash to Palapye and break the news. I remember the frustrations of the Debswana 461 dismissed workers who had long sought the audience of HE, but were turned down on the context that his diary is too busy. To date, the comrades have given up the luxury of meeting HE to mitigate their (mis)deeds. This is the plight that ordinary Batswana have, who in their problems could not have access to their President. Inquisitive minds could read some irregularity in President Mogae's narration that "MP Sebetela had requested me and VP to help him find a job in regional bodies like SADC, AU or Botswana's parastatals while he (Sebetela) will search in private corporate bodies."
