Voting For The BNF Will Be A Waste Of Time

I find it rather grossly mischievous for Arafat Khan, the Botswana National Front (BNF) Youth League spokesperson in an article he flashed in a number of newspapers, to implore the youth of this country to vote for his party in the coming national elections.


Though it is now evident that many Batswana no longer take the BNF seriously because of its chaotic nature, and are ready to teach it a political lesson at the polls, I feel compelled to caution unsuspecting readers, especially the youth who might be misled into believing that the BNF is still alive. 

While I totally agree with Khan that the youth must register in large numbers and vote to bring change to the problems bedeviling this nation, I however find it criminal and scandalous to call them to vote for a disoriented party like the current BNF.
