Nasha to account for anti-woman remarks

The caucus stands for the political empowerment and enhancement of the political leadership of women. It is all about women politicians showing solidarity with each other.

Hence to our shock and surprise to learn that Mma-Nasha has made a special call for women candidates to be defeated by their BDP opponents during the coming general elections. In our view her utterances go against the very principles and objectives that the caucus stands for. This shows that Mma-Nasha is not committed to the course for which the caucus was established. We have all along been under the impression that she was concerned and genuine about the low representation of women in political leadership.
