My future is 'Orange'-Pilane's response

I write to clarify matters which you stated in the banner article published in the Wednesday issue of Mmegi dated 12th March 2008. That article attracts my response. The record requires to be settled.

Your article is correct in its claim, inter alia, that my contract of employment determines on the 31st March 2008, and that I then will cease to be employed in the Office of the President. The article is incorrect in many important respects, and it is upon those and attending matters that I must offer clarification.

In the time that I have served in this Office, I have worked with Vice President Khama, amongst others. Our relationship is excellent, and no questions of falling out or wanting loyalties and allegiances arise. On the contrary, he wanted me to continue in employment in the Office beyond 31st March if I wished to.
