Motlhagodi is not new to Botswana politics

On Friday, 26 October 2007, Mmegi published an article titled "Of Moupo, Masitara and the people" authored by the staff writer Tshireletso Motlogelwa.

I write not necessarily to respond to the article but to present a constituent view on some issues that were raised which I believe belittles our wisdom and/or intelligence as Gaborone West North residents.

First let me state that I am a constituent in the Gaborone West North constituency. I voted in the 2004 elections and the subsequent by-election that ushered Otsweletse Moupo into Parliament as our area MP, and of course I voted for Moupo. I am registered again to vote in the 2009 elections.
