Moleleki Mokama: a man of many firsts

Noted of the list of people listed as Maunatlala homemen and greats, is the late Moleleki Didwell Mokama. He may have been the first BA (Law) Rhodes University I think) two masters in Law including Harvard.

As you indicate he was the first Motswana Chief Justice, to my knowledge first Attorney General and probably first Botswana High Commissioner to London. I think he has many firsts. May his soul rest in peace.

Lest it be forgotten the Late First was the first to acquit and discharge a man on a charge of manslaughter on a defence of provocation in 1996 or thereabout in the Palapye case of Shimane Tumotumo.
