Now, it is not a big secret that Master Dee was not that successful here in Botswana. He was not in the same league with artists like Vee or Franco. He was a struggling musician, just like most of our beloved musicians. But all of a sudden, the man had enough money to sponsor himself and to study in the UK.
He came back after a few months and opened an office at Commerce Park and to start his Pop Star Botswana with a weekly slot on Btv. An office at Commerce Park and an advert on Btv as well as his Saturday slot definitely did not come cheap. (Then someone tipped Shaya of the Voice that someone running a music competition was engaged in some illegal activity - fronting for some British businessmen).
