Lessons From SA Community Radio

I have the good news to tell you about this (Sector of Community Radios Stations), in South Africa following the sector conference, which was dubbed Community Media Reflection.

I will only put before you my compatriots who read our lovely publications, and especially those who aspire to see this sector being established in Botswana and also those with different views about the sector.

What struck me at the gathering of these community media activists was the people involved in the sector and the stakeholders; it was really something one can write home about, especially in view of the challenges community media is facing in Botswana!
The event or rather the gathering was held at one of the magnificent hotels in Johannesburg, Devonshire/Orion hotel on the 17th storey.
