Flood alert

The Department of Meteorological Services weather forecasts shows that the rains may continue for some time possibly resulting in flash flooding in some parts of the country.

In light of these prospects, the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) would like to warn members of the public about inherent dangers of flash floods. 

We would also like to emphasise that forecasts are not precise predictions and hence the need for the public to be vigilant at all times.
