Dipholo is a fake intellectual

Fake intellectuals abound in this country. They are easily detectable. They lack originality of thought but would want to dominate and prescribe the course of public debate, and as a result, they fall into the trap of plagiarizing the works of others with the hope that they will appear superior in thought and consequently silence would-be critics.

Their debates are preceded by lengthy but irrelevant re-statement of the already known theories and philosophies. In their often contradictory jumble, they want to portray themselves to be what they are not. Kenneth Dipholo is an unbending member of this legion of self-declared righteous media commentators, who after all is said and done, are intellectually barren.

I ignore the uninvited lecturing that forms a considerable part of his essay in the Sunday Standard because this is simple plagiarism and instead I proceed to deal with fallacies that follow.
