Selling unholy water?

Last week's article on the holy water from the Zondo Revival provoked discussion on The Monitor Facebook page and church grounds in Gaborone.

With the theology of the water half sorted, the discussion shifted fundamentally from 'a gullible Batswana' to whether pastors should sell the holy water or not. In fact, no one questioned whether the water was really holy in the first place. However, that is where I will start before I address whether pastors and prophets should offer at a price that which is from God.

Unholy?
What cannot be questioned is whether the water was sacred or not. All waters from TB Joshua, or Zondo, a Sangoma or coffee from ZCC taela is sacred in so far as it is dispensed in the realm of religious cosmologies of various kinds.
