Chinese people do contribute to Botswana

As an avid reader of Mmegi over the years of my residence in Botswana, I have grown very fond of your newspaper.

I found it informative and fearless in publishing true stories.  However, on 8th of March 2013, the front page of your newspaper had the headline, "Govt Sues Chinese".  Being a Chinese native currently residing in this beautiful country of Botswana, I felt a pinch of unfairness in such a generalised headline.

Please be duly informed that most Chinese residents in Botswana are not happy with the companies doing projects of Morupule B power station and Sir Seretse Khama International Airport expansion.  As fellow Chinese, we have pleaded with those companies to stand up and explain their progress delays to not only the government but also to the nation at large.  Through such generalised media reports, it seems the Chinese are targeted as an unwelcome lot in Botswana.
