Are old age homes the solution?

The MP for Francistown South, Wynter Mmolotsi, has tabled a motion for the government to establish old age homes for the special care of our venerable and often infirm parents and grandparents, a good number of whom are grandsires and grandmothers of all generations extant.

Of course, as a nation that has grown frightfully averse to tackling issues by means of analysis and study, we avoid the unpalatable reality of tribalism and regionalism as means to prosperity by denying each our very identity that was a matter of pride only the other day.
