Could our judiciary be corrupt?

"...the motive of registration process picking up a judge favourable or sympathetic to their case. God forbid that those judges who are said to be sympathetic to the cases of attorneys involved in such practices do not get any benefit or greasing of their hands. Further those who are involved in this dangerous practice may well be greasing the hands of our registries staff to connive and cooperate with them..." It is strange that of all the circulars the Chief Justice could issue in 2013 and towards the tail end of the year had to be one in which he insinuates that he is heading a corruptible judiciary. 

There is nothing in the Circular as to the basis of the insinuations.  For the Chief Justice to express his lack of confidence in a team he leads and does so publicly not only cast aspersions on their Lordship's integrity but erodes the confidence the public has on our judiciary.
