It remains noble because; we who are steadfast on changing, literally getting back the governance of Batswana back to them, are the very ones who have opted for such to be in a noble fashion.
We have had a choice, a choice not to be noble, but we have retained nobility. There are challenges in retaining nobility in a political dispensation where those holding the state’s high seat are not only illegitimate, but appearing to have all insincere intentions of robbing the citizenry a chance to decide who should rule them.
While it is widely acknowledged that Khama holds the title of Kgosi, the government’s failure to properly gazette his recognition has raised serious concerns about adherence to legal procedures and the credibility of traditional leadership.
