Woman in car was hacked to death - Police

FRANCISTOWN: Police have cleared the mist surrounding the death of a 47-year-old woman of Matshelagabedi who was found dead in her car along Matshelagabedi-Francistown road last week.

Officer Commanding District Number 15, Senior Superintendent Chabaesele Kesupetswe said that their investigations have revealed that Haniffa Dube was not involved in a car accident but was rather murdered.

"It wasn't an accident, the deceased was murdered as she was chopped once with a sharp object on the head," said Kesupetswe.
