Woman Denies Being Prisoner's Mother

FRANCISTOWN: A woman, who has been pinpointed by a prisoner living at Francistown Centre for Illegal Immigrants (Monitor, November 9) as his mother has - flatly denied that she is the prisoner's mother.

Mathews English, who has been living at the centre for about three years, has deposed an affidavit, saying that Nomathemba English, a royal wife in Kgari Village, is his mother and has even been to court applying to be helped with a DNA test, which costs P3, 200 to prove that Nomathemba is his biological mother.

He said the DNA test would be only a formality because he knows that she is his mother and claims she has his birth certificate and passport.
