Westwood fires headmaster

Helge Gallinger, Westwoods’ latest Headmaster was fired from his position on Thursday 12th March for unknown reasons.

He becomes the seventh headmaster to be fired in 13 years. The sacking coincides with the school posting disastrous performance in the just released senior secondary schools results.

The Chairwoman of the School Council, Brit Macfarlane announced on Thursday that she and the Council have taken over leadership of the school. The school has no Deputy Head and has only recently appointed a Head of the Primary School.
