Unlicensed taxis flood roads

Lack of employment has forced unlicensed taxis to compete with combi operators in Gaborone, more specially the Broadhurst routes.

Broadhurst Route 5 and 2 seem to be the most affected. Pirating taxis have opened their own rank at the station in front of Ellerines Furniture next to the Ministry of Agriculture.

According to the route managers and book marshals at the station, the drivers of these taxis do not have PRDP permits or light duty licenses.
