The family of sisters who were injured in a fire at their home on December 23, and died a week or so later, have quashed rumours that their daughters died as a result of a love triangle.

The sisters, Tuelo Mokgalo and Kgallelo Motlogelwa were badly burnt after the house they were sleeping in was torched, allegedly by a jealous lover. One of the sisters, Mokgalo, was pregnant when the house was burned down on that fateful night during the festive season.

The child miraculously survived and is now said to be at Princess Marina Hospital under observation.
