Two fatal accidents occurred on Saturday, claiming the lives of two pedestrians in separate incidents in Mogoditshane and Gaborone West, Gaborone.

In the first accident, which took place on Saturday afternoon at around 1:00pm along Molepolole Road, near Nando's and opposite SSKB Barracks, a 38-year-old man tragically lost his life when he was struck by an Audi A4 while attempting to cross the road.

Deputy Divisional Traffic Officer South Central, Boiki Mojalemotho said the victim suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Nkoyaphiri Clinic by medical professionals.
