FRANCISTOWN: The eagerly awaited assault case involving two Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) politicians will finally go to trial on April 24 and 25, 2017. The fight involved the Member of Parliament (MP) for Francistown West, Ignatius Moswaane, and branch chairperson of the Francistown South constituency, Ford Moiteela.

Moswaane reported that Moiteela strangled and pushed him against the wall at Block 4 location on April 12, 2016 during the campaign trail of the Phillip Matante East by-election.

Efforts to solve the matter out of court failed hence the matter is now before magistrate, Kaveri Kapeko.
